Great Books I is a course in which students read and critically analyze major published works that have influenced Western Civilization prior to the 1600s. Authors from the Greek philosophers up to the Reformation will be studied. Students will read these books with a view towards gaining an understanding of the literary convention of the journey or quest, and also reflect on their own journey.
