Welcome to Human Development! This semester, you will have an opportunity to try your hand at parenting by raising your own "virtual child" from birth to adulthood! Students have enjoyed this aspect of the course, as they gained insight about their values and the type of parent they may become. We will also be exploring some fascinating topics such as: attachment in relationships, trauma and resilience, the teenage brain, when/how we become adults, identity and stereotypes, multicultural competence, as well as end of life issues.
